Exit at Lightfighter Drive.
Continue straight until the second stoplight (at 2nd Avenue).
Make a U-turn at 2nd Avenue, returning onto Lightfighter.
Take the first right onto 1st Avenue (the next stoplight).
Continue on 1st Avenue — it leads directly to the only building at the end of the road.
Supervisor Askew is hosting Office Hours on Wednesday, October 15th from 4-6pm at her Marina office (2616 1st Avenue, Marina, CA).
During office hours, Supervisor Askew will meet with constituent on a first-come, first-served basis. Drop by and share your questions and concerns, pick up a Covid-19 test, and have a cup of coffee with Supervisor Askew and the District 4 team.

Wendy Root Askew was sworn into office on January 5, 2021 to represent Monterey County District 4. Supervisor Askew further serves the residents of Monterey County on a variety of boards, commissions, and committees. In 2024 Wendy was re-elected with 78% of the vote, stating, “I’m just really excited to continue getting good work done for the district and the county. I feel really positive, so positive, about the direction we’re moving in, and the path that we’re on, and I think it’s so reassuring to know that the voters feel the same way and that we’re going to continue doing this work together.”
Supervisor Askew is committed to supporting all Monterey County residents to have their basic needs met in safe, connected communities where there is opportunity for personal fulfillment and access to protected natural resources. Her priorities as Supervisor include: social equity, healthcare access, high quality services, access to affordable child care, water and mass transit solutions, increased accountability and customer service for County services, housing, and recovery from the pandemic.
